Onvate Cream 15gm

Onvate Cream is a topical medication containing Fluticasone Propionate (0.05%), a potent corticosteroid used to alleviate inflammatory and pruritic manifestations associated with atopic dermatitis and other skin conditions. 

Composition:

• Each gram of Onvate Cream contains 0.5 mg of Fluticasone Propionate BP.
  

Indications:

• Onvate Cream is indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of atopic dermatitis in patients aged 1 year and older.
  

Dosage and Administration:

• Apply a thin film of Onvate Cream to the affected skin areas once daily, rubbing in gently.
  

Contraindications:

• Onvate is contraindicated in cases of acne vulgaris, perianal dermatitis, primary cutaneous viral infections (e.g., herpes simplex, chickenpox), hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients, perianal and genital pruritus, and dermatoses in infants under three months of age, including dermatitis and napkin eruptions.
  

Precautions & Warnings:

• Prolonged application of high doses to large areas of the body, especially in infants and children, may lead to adrenal suppression. Atrophic changes in the skin, such as thinning, striae, and dilatation of superficial blood vessels, may occur with prolonged use. Avoid contact with the eyes, and use appropriate antimicrobial therapy when treating inflamed lesions that have been infected. Topical corticosteroids should be withdrawn if there is a spread of infection.
